World Environment Day - 5 June 2024 - Empowering the Youth: A Call to Action for Climate Justice on World Environment Day

This World Environment Day, IMCS Asia Pacific has joined forces with young voices from across Asia to celebrate our collective commitment to climate justice, the fight against land degradation, and the restoration of our planet. This year’s theme underscores the vital role of youth in driving sustainable change and highlights the urgency of their leadership in this crucial endeavour.

The celebration was a testament to the power of youth activism, as young leaders from diverse backgrounds shared their experiences, ideas, and solutions for a healthier planet. Their voices echoed the sentiment that it is time for the younger generation to step forward and take the reins of environmental advocacy. Through action, empowerment, education, and unity, the youth can and must lead the charge toward a sustainable future.

Uniting for a Brighter Future: World Day Against Child Labor 2024 Campaign

In honour of World Day Against Child Labor 2024, we are launching a campaign to end child labour and raise awareness through powerful videos. Millions of children worldwide still face dangerous working conditions, preventing them from receiving an education and enjoying a safe childhood, despite progress made. Our campaign seeks to end poverty by raising awareness about the struggles children face and gathering global support for them. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

By uniting globally, we can create a powerful movement to end child labour once and for all. Our videos will share personal stories, expert insights, and practical steps for individuals and communities to support this cause. Through education and advocacy, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of millions of children.

Digital Gathering about Youth, Indigenous People and Digital Development

International Youth Day 2024, we proudly reflect on the impactful IMCS AP-Youth Leader Talk about “Youth Voices for Indigenous Rights and Digital Development” on August 10 and 11, 2024, where young leaders united to champion the rights and cultures of Indigenous Peoples.  Over two transformative days, we reaffirmed the critical importance of respecting Indigenous autonomy, safeguarding cultural heritage, and resisting external threats. These youth leaders are using education, empowerment, and digital activism to amplify marginalised voices and create innovative solutions for a more equitable world. We are creating a future where digital platforms promote advocacy, education reduces the knowledge gap, and global leadership values diversity and equality.
