The Asian Evangelization Academy continued on March 28 in Mary Education Center in Suji, Yongin. Fr. Seo Myung-won Bernardo (Society of Jesus) delivered a speech on “Christianity and the Dialogue Between Religions”.
March Monthly Mission Committee 2024
The monthly presentation of the Mission Committee was held at the Mary Education Center in Suji, Yongin and through Zoom on March 7. Dr. Choi Kyung-sik gave a presentation on two books, ‘Jugyoyeongi(主敎緣記)’ and ‘Jugyoyoji(主敎要旨)’.
Recording Session of Missionary Activity in Asia 2024 (March)
The Recording session of missionary works in Asia took place on March 21 in Mary Education Center in Suji, Yongin and through Zoom with a presentation by Kim Seon-hee Anna, Missionary (Missionary Society of ST. Columban) regarding the missionary activities in Malate in the Philippines.
The 19th Academic Symposium
The 19th Academic Symposium titled “Asian Religions in the 21st Century and Christian Spirituality” is scheduled to take place in the Auditorium of Catholic Diocese of Suwon on May 11. The themes which will be dealt with are as below:
- Fundamentalism of Asian Religions and the Dialogue of Christian Spirituality (Fr. An Dong-hun)
- Methodology for a Comparative Approach of Buddhism and Christianity (Fr. Seo Myung-won)
- The Crisis in Japanese Society and eschatology (Fr. Ichiro Mitsunobu)
April Monthly Mission Committee 2024
The Monthly Mission Committee was held at Mary Education Center in Suji, Yongin on April 4. Dr. Hwang Kyung-hoon delivered a presentation about “The Evaluation and Prospect of 2023-24 Synod & the Asian Churches”.
Recording Session of Missionary Activity in Asia 2024 (April)
The Recording Session of Missionary Works in Asia was conducted on April 11 at Mary Education Center in Suji, Yongin with a speech by Fr. Kim Min-jo (Clerical Congregation of the Blessed Korean Martyrs) regarding the missionary activities in Dili, East Timor.
