ASIAN LAY LEADERS (ALL) FORUM

aims to provide young Catholic youth including pastoral workers, social activists and NGO leaders with Catholic social teachings (CSTs), Asian theologies as contextual theology and “Pastoral Spiral” approach of FABC, or Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences for building more peaceful, just and ecologically sound societies in Asia.

To achieve this, ALL Forum has provided the intensive formation program for the said Catholic youth called “Asian Youth Academy (AYA)/ Asian Theology Forum (ATF) for 10 days annually and Moving Schools, a complementary and follow-up program of the former conducted in each country in Asia.

In this process, the young layleaders who have joined the programs will become appropriate leaders with deep faith in God in their region and country which is a final goal of the pan-Asian Non-Formal Education (NFE) platform.

OUR MAIN PROGRAM

MOVING SCHOOL

Since 2017, ALL Forum has conducted the “Moving school” for Youth in many countries in Asia such as Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Asian context, it is natural that the ALL Forum’s programs put more stress on religious plurality and dialogue among religions and cultures in the continent.

ASIAN YOUTH ACADEMY (AYA)/ ASIAN THEOLOGY FORUM (ATF)

As a relevant spiritual formation project for young activists, the AYA/ATF places much emphasis on their religious identity amid the all-things-mixed global world. It also aims to make them what Pope Francis calls “missionary disciples” armed with strong Christian identity with socio-political awareness, socio-cultural analysis and spiritualty.
